Almost 12 hours after the NBA announced it would be suspending the season due to Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert testing positive for coronavirus, the Washington Wizards released a statement saying players, coaches, and basketball operations personnel have been advised to self-quarantine for three to four days. Any player or staff member who exhibits flu-like symptoms will be tested for COVID-19.

The Wizards last played the Utah Jazz on Feb. 28.

This is definitely the right decision and echoes Albert Lee’s concerns from earlier this morning.

We will update you with more information as this situation changes.
