The Washington Wizards made a second trade right before the NBA Trade Deadline. In a three-team deal that involved the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers, Washington acquired guard Jerome Robinson in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, who now heads to the Clippers.
The Clippers, Knicks and Wizards have agreed to a three-team trade that will land Marcus Morris and Isaiah Thomas with the Clippers, league sources tell ESPN. Jerome Robinson will join the Wizards, Moe Harkless and a 2020 first-round pick to the Knicks.

According to numerous reports including Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the headliner in this particular deal was then-New York Knicks forward Marcus Morris, who was also sent to the Clippers. Moe Harkless and the Clippers’ 2020 first round pick went to the Knicks.
And if all that weren’t enough, the Wizards will send the draft rights of Issuf Sanon, their 2018 second round draft pick to the Knicks, according to David Aldridge of The Athletic.
Draft rights to PG Issuf Sanon, taken by Wizards in second round in ’18 and who is still overseas, will go to New York as part of this deal.

This particular deal helps put the Shabazz Napier trade in perspective. It made little sense to have three point guards on the roster, not including John Wall. Now, things are a bit clearer with that position.
Robinson comes to Washington averaging 2.9 points a game in a reserve role for the Clippers. Since he is making just 33.8 percent of his shots, Robinson isn’t expected to get much more playing time than he was in L.A.
Thomas averaged 12.2 points and 3.7 assists per game for Washington this season. Since he is no longer on the team, I wonder what’s going to happen to all of those bobbleheads fans were supposed to get for tomorrow’s game against the Mavericks. It is — or was — IT bobblehead night AND Latvian and Slovenian Heritage Night!
Unfortunately for Thomas, even though he is now with the Clippers, he is expected to be waived, also according to Aldridge.
The Clippers will not be keeping Isaiah Thomas, acquired today from Washington in three-team deal with Knicks that brought Marcus Morris to LA and send Moe Harkless/picks to NYC, per league source.

I thought this NBA Trade Deadline would be pretty quiet. But boy was I wrong!
