On Thursday, Candace Buckner of The Washington Post reported that the Washington Wizards acquired Shabazz Napier of the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Jordan McRae.

Napier averaged 9.6 points and 5.2 assists in the regular season, all for the Minnesota Timberwolves before being part of a four-team trade that included the Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets.
McRae averaged a career-high 12.8 points per game for Washington and made 37.7 percent of his shots from the three-point line.
Napier’s arrival helps fill in the void that then-starting point guard Isaiah Thomas leaves behind. Thomas was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in a separate three-team deal on Thursday that also involved the New York Knicks.
