Hello everyone! Let’s get to some data on Wizards fans’ confidence after the All-Star Break. This week was ... interesting.
Wizards results: Only 1 in 4 fans are confident in the team’s direction.

.I was quite startled to see that the vast majority of you do not have confidence in the Wizards. Only about 25 percent of you (including me), do.

The latest poll happened right at the end of the All-Star Break where Washington ultimately lost three games in a row. That is likely why fan confidence dropped so low post All-Star break.
Since fan confidence dropped by so much, I’m skeptical that this poll is accurate, at least in terms of saying whether . As I’ve said all season, the Wizards aren’t necessarily trying to win today, even if a playoff berth is still in reach. So this may be a better question to ask when determining your confidence in the Wizards:
Is Tommy Sheppard doing the right job as the Wizards’ General Manager?
If you answer yes to this question, then you have confidence in the Wizards. Otherwise, you truly don’t. After all, if you think Tommy Sheppard isn’t doing a good job in his first season, then the Wizards should make some drastic changes. I don’t think most of you think that it’s time to fire Sheppard when he’s been the anti-Ernie Grunfeld for much of this season.
National Results: No, there shouldn’t be a “target score” in NBA games!

The NBA All-Star Game instituted a new scoring format with a target score. But the vast majority of fans nationwide won’t think that should apply to the regular season. I agree. Every game is ultimately a different story, and it should be kept that way.
