On Tuesday, Montgomery County, Md. native and rapper Wale wore some new Washington Wizards gear from Mitchell & Ness. More specifically, he wore a “remixed” version of the then-Bullets’ jerseys.
The reactions to the new gear are generally positive.
Wale isn’t the only rapper who collaborated with Mitchell & Ness, the NBA and Bleacher Report. DJ Khaled made a version of the Miami Heat jersey, Schoolboy Q has one for the Los Angeles Lakers, E-40 has one for the Golden State Warriors and Big Sean has one for the Detroit Pistons among others.
