It was a close one at first but Washington Wizards pulled out the victory at home after being up as much as 18 points. Wizards were down 106-105 after Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie went in for the lay-up. Washington needed to figure out what to do and Jerome Robinson was the answer. Robinson was found by Bradley Beal on the left arc for the three-pointer and the 108-106 lead with 8.4 seconds left.

Nets depended on Dinwiddie again but it failed. Robinson was fouled and sinked the final free throws for the 110-106 victory.

Beal scored 30 points with five rebounds and assists. Rui Hachimura has 17 points and four rebounds in the game as well, but was shut down in the second half only scoring two points.

Washington played a good first half as Beal was getting some help offensively. Hachimura had 15 points in 14 minutes of play, followed by Beal’s 11 points and Davis Bertans’ 11 points of the bench.

Hachimura started off hot with back to back three-pointers and shot 5 of 9 in the first half. See his 15 points scored below.

The Wizards begin their four-game west coast road trip starting with the Utah Jazz on Friday February 28 at 9 p.m. ET.
