Wizards vs. Bucks preview: Washington heads back home after two-game losing streak

The Wizards face off against the Eastern Conference-leading Bucks on Monday on the second night of a back-to-back!

As the Washington Wizards continue to shake off some All-Star break rust, they host the league’s leading team, the Milwaukee Bucks, seemingly en route to a historic winning record in their franchise history. After struggling with the Cavaliers, it seems a stretch to ask for anything but a solid effort, but, hey, the Wizards have surprised some great teams here in D.C.

Defense — There is a theory that now that IT is gone, the Wizards will greatly improve on D. But that still probably won’t help against a lethal team such as Milwaukee. They space the floor so well, while the Wizards are notoriously bad with defending space. I’m clearly not optimistic here, unless the Bucks catch an off shooting night.

Thomas BryantTB has gotten some criticism for his lackluster defense. Now, that IT is gone, it’s on him to prove the naysayers wrong. And no better way to prove that then by defening the Greek Freak. Good luck.
