With All Star Weekend in the rear view mirror, the Wizards are all set to begin the second half of their 2020 season just a few games out of the playoff race. Their first opponent will be the controversy-laden Cavaliers of Cleveland, whose first-year head coach John Beilein just abruptly resigned.

Now coached by JB Bickerstaff, the Cavs will see if they can pursue the famous “dead cat bounce”: a particularly strong stretch of play immediately following the departure of a coach. It’s Washington’s job to shut that down.
