Pregame Notes

Another game for Washington as they were just home after defeating the Chicago Bulls. This time the Wizards go on the road to New York to face the Knicks. Looking back at Wednesday night’s game, Bradley Beal and company came to play! 30 points from Beal plus 20 from Rui Hachimura and add 15 for Ian Mahinmi and we have a great team effort. Oh and the bench had 43 points, 15 coming from Shabazz Napier!

IF ONLY WASHINGTON COULD PLAY LIKE THIS EVERY NIGHT!

This season would be a different scenario and Washington could then be this potential-driven team. Who doesn’t love potential?! But in order to maintain potential it has to come from both sides of the ball. With a lacking defense from the Wizards, how they can expect to not only beat teams but stop the opposing best player if they allow them to score 100+ as a team and 30+ to their opponents best player?

In this case, the Wizards would need to stop Julius Randle who’s averaging close to 20 points a game as well as a double-double. We can only find out on Wednesday night!
