The Washington Wizards released the dates and times of the first half of their 2020-21 season.
The season begins on Dec. 23 with a match against the Philadelphia 76ers. They will also have some home series where they play the same team at home in two consecutive games, starting with the Orlando Magic (Dec. 26-27), Chicago Bulls (Dec. 29-30) and Cleveland Cavaliers (Jan. 17-18). They will also play the Miami Heat in two consecutive games on the road on Feb. 3 and Feb. 5.
These series are in place likely because of the surge of cases in the coronavirus pandemic.
The biggest games of the first half will be against former star John Wall and the Houston Rockets, who host Washington on Jan. 26 and head to the nation’s capital on Feb. 15.
You can see all the games for the first half of the 2020-21 NBA season below.

The Wizards haven’t listed any protocols on fans attending games at Capital One Arena for the first half of the season. Given the current environment around the virus, it’s unlikely that there will be any fans during what will be a dark winter in terms of cases and deaths.
Stay safe out there everyone.
