On Friday, Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal announced on his Instagram account that he signed with Jordan Brand, a subsidiary of Nike. He was previously signed with Nike’s main brand.

Jordan Brand also issued a press release of Beal’s signing. You can read it below and it also has a Q&A on why he’s moving from just swooshes to Jumpman logos (and some more swooshes).

Beal is far from the only Wizards player to be part of Jordan Brand. He is one of four players to wear those shoes that Wizards alum (yes he is!) and now-Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan did in his playing days. Russell Westbrook, Rui Hachimura and Moritz Wagner are also Jordan Brand athletes with Westbrook being among the highest profile athletes to wear Jumpman logo swag.

The Wizards do have a Jordan Brand jersey this year by the way. The navy blue Statement edition jersey will have the Jordan logo on it. So when Beal, Westbrook, Hachimura and Wagner take the court, their gear will be totally in sync from head to toe!
