The Washington Wizards have signed Raul Neto to a one-year deal, according to Stadium’s Shams Charania.

Charania, who tweeted the deal Saturday afternoon, might not have been the first to break the news about Neto. According to Yahoo reporter Keith Smith, the deal had been revealed by several Portuguese-language sites Friday evening. “It’s likely for the veteran minimum,” Smith said in a tweet.

The point guard, who is going into his sixth NBA season, played for Philadelphia 76ers last season. He saw action in a total of 54 games, averaging 5.1 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 rebounds per game.

The Wizards now have four point guards: Raul Neto, John Wall, Ish Smith and Cassius Winston, who has yet to be signed by the team.
