With new additions and ratings out for NBA 2K21, it’s only right we checkout how the Washington Wizards did. When it comes to the 2K21’s Top 100 NBA Players List, the Wizards have three players who made it: Bradley Beal, John Wall and Rui Hachimura.
Beal was ranked 24th with a 88 overall rating in 2K21; previously was ranked 20th with an 88 rating in 2K20. It doesn’t make sense how Beal dropped four spots after the season he’s had averaging 30.5 points per game, six assists per game and four rebounds. Not to mention he was second in scoring this past season and didn’t make an All-NBA team.
Wall has been out since December of the 2018-2019 season with an Achilles injury and it didn’t help him slipping and falling to extend that time off into the 2019-2020 season as well. His ranking dropped significantly as Wall was ranked 35th with an 86 overall rating in 2K20, but now sits at 56th with an 83 overall rating. We can use the excuse of him being out with an injury but after recent videos, Wall is definitely back for a revenge season and taking no prisoners.
Surprisingly, or not surprisingly, Hachimura barely made the list as he scratched the surface with a 79 overall rating ranked 97th on the top-100 list. Hachimura had a good rookie season as he made NBA All-Rookie Second Team this past season averaging 13.5 points per game and six rebounds.
Although there were only three players on the top-100 list, we can’t ignore the overall ratings of the rest of the team and the Wizards team as a whole. Washington sits at 80 overall as a unit on 2K21. See below the rest of the ratings for the Wizards team.
Any shockers or disappointments?
