Last weekend, rap legend Snoop Dogg openly said that the Los Angeles Lakers should make a trade for Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal. The Lakers unfortunately don’t have players or picks that the Wizards would want (unless LeBron James or Anthony Davis want to play in D.C.). And Beal pushed back on that talk.

But that doesn’t mean that trade talk isn’t going away. In fact, it’s probably only going to intensify.

Yesterday, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst and Tim Bontemps discussed how the Golden State Warriors could trade for Beal in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and perhaps more picks. NBC Sports Bay Area has a transcript of the conversation and the whole podcast is here.

Unlike the Lakers scenarios, I think the Warriors do have assets the Wizards could want. However, as even the NBC Sports piece said, the Wizards still want to see how Beal and John Wall work out together.

But if next season doesn’t start well for the Wizards, then this trade deal could look more intriguing — though the Warriors would also know whom they pick at No. 2 this year.

Should the Wizards consider a trade deal with the Warriors? Let us know in the comments.
