Today is Ted Leonsis’ birthday! The Wizards and Mystics’ principal partner is now 63 years old! His son, Zach Leonsis put out this tweet earlier Wednesday afternoon.

Zach is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Monumental Sports & Entertainment and General Manager of Monumental Sports Network.
The last two years have been big for Ted. The Washington Capitals won the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup before his 62nd birthday. And this past October, the Mystics won the 2019 WNBA Finals before this one.
It will be awhile before the Wizards win their second Larry O’Brien Finals trophy, but I believe things are heading in the right direction. Let’s give Ted a happy birthday and a big Wizards win against the Magic tonight!
