What to Look Out For
The Wizards played a strong game last night against the Miami Heat though it ended up in an overtime loss. They’re going into the second night of a back-to-back after a longer-than-expected game, so it’s important they don’t get fatigued against Cleveland, who has the rest advantage for tonight’s game.
The Cavaliers haven’t played since last Monday when they lost 106-86 to the New York Knicks. They have lost five consecutive games heading into this one which also includes losses to the sub .500 Bulls and Grizzlies, though Memphis has heated up lately.
Though this game will be viewed as a “lottery fest” where the “loser is the real winner” with ping pong balls on the line, I’d think that Cleveland would like to get a much-needed win at home while Washington wants to get last night’s bad taste out of their mouths. It should be an even game, and I think Washington will come out ahead in this one.
