Wizards point guard John Wall has been out of game action for over one calendar year. He has done some speed drills, but he hasn’t been cleared for scrimmages just yet.
In recent weeks, Wall has finally returned to 3-on-3 and now 4-on-4 scrimmages with the team’s development coaches and staff.

John Wall hits a buzzer-beater and then celebrates. Can tell he’s having fun playing basketball and creating highlights for the first time in over a year. pic.twitter.com/MIvdR1daRA

There is no timetable for Wall’s return to NBA games for this season, which Mike DePrisco noted for NBC Sports Washington. But it’s safe to say that if nothing else, Wall should have a successful return when he finally gets the much-anticipated all-clear.
