BIG3 Week 8 consisted of only three games as other teams were on a scheduled bye week. First game of the night was the Enemies vs 3 Headed Monsters followed by Tri-State/Power, and Ghost Ballers/Trilogy. Some teams are a given to make the playoffs with only one week of regular season remaining, while others are fighting or have already been eliminated.
3 Headed Monsters 50, Enemies 32
Where was Gilbert Arenas? He was definitely active and playing but only contributed five points in the Enemies’ loss. Craig Smith had a game-high 16 points, but the next highest scorer for the Enemies was Arenas and Perry Jones with five points each. As for the 3 Headed Monsters, two players were in double figures: Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (13) and Rashard Lewis (11), while Larry Sanders was busy blocking shots similar to this one.

Tri-State 50, Power 43
Tri-State came together when they needed to most as they outscored Power in the second half 30-16 after being down seven at halftime. Jason Richardson and Nate Robinson combined for 39 points, Richardson adding 11 rebounds to his stats. Defending champs, Power, were not able to get the job done behind Corey Maggette’s 19 points. Remaining team scored eight points a piece, while Glen “Big Baby” Davis had zero points. He did however catch Nate Robinson as he shot the game-winner.
