She has been listed as day-to-day and her status is unknown for the matinee Camp Day on Wednesday morning where Washington plays the Phoenix Mercury at Capital One Arena. Delle Donne only had played one minute before sustaining the injury. The Mystics ended up losing to the Sparks, 98-81, ending their win streak.
Delle Donne is currently averaging 15.8 per game and 8.2 rebounds a game as well as leading the league in WNBA All-Star votes.
Since she’s listed as day-to-day, Wednesday’s game status could be questionable or a game time decision, but definitely be prepared to see Delle Donne possibly sport a mask for some time during the remaining season.
