The Wizards are kicking off NBA Summer League in Las Vegas where they will begin play against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Game Info

When: Monday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m. ET

Where: Thomas and Mack Center, Las Vegas, NV

How to watch: NBA TV

What to watch for

Hachimura’s feel on the floor — Rui Hachimura had a rough start in the first half of last Saturday’s game. However, he felt more comfortable toward the end. Hopefully, we see that second half version of him for an entire game.

Justin Robinson’s poise — The point guard was an unsung hero in Washington’s debut where he got the start and scored 15 points.

Turnovers by both teams — The Wizards committed 16 turnovers in their first Summer League game while the Nets lost their first game to the Mavericks after committing 22 turnovers. It is not uncommon to see teams be a bit turnover-prone but the winner of this game will likely take better fare of the basketball.

Will Mo Wagner play? — Wagner participated in practice soon he was officially traded from the Lakers. He spoke with the media afterwards and I’m getting something up as soon as I can!
