The Wizards (2-2) will play the Knicks (1-3) in their final NBA Summer League game on Saturday for an NBA Summer League consolation match. Let’s preview!
Game Information
When: Saturday, July 13 at 6 p.m. ET
Where: Cox Pavilion, Las Vegas, NV
TV: NBA TV
What to watch for
#HACHISZN — Rui Hachimura, the Wizards’ first round pick, has been one of the NBA’s top players in Summer League where he has averaged 19.7 points per game. Though he started out slow in the first game, perhaps due to nerves, Hachimura has gotten into a groove which should help Washington in their last game in the summer.
Watch Troy Caupain — Of the Wizards’ players who are not draft picks, Caupain has stood out, averaging 10.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. Expect him to make another strong appearance here.
Keep an eye on Kevin Knox — The Knicks’ leading scorer in Summer League averaged 12/8 points per game last year in the regular season. The Knicks may not have shown the wins in Summer League, but they still have enough to pull away with the W here.
