Washington cruised through their four-game road trip and came to do damage to the Sun. Connecticut had beaten Washington twice before, but the Mystics got the last laugh with a 42-point and take the number one in the league at 9-3. Also, this win was the largest margin of victory in Mystics franchise history and is tied for the fourth-biggest blowout in league history.
The Mystics get some time off before heading back to the west coast to visit the Las Vegas Aces. In the last meeting, the Mystics won 95-72 as part of the previous four-game road trip.
