According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Wizards will acquire Jonathon Simmons and the 42nd draft pick from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer also added that the Wizards will pay cash considerations.

Simmons will have a cap hit of about $5.7 million in the 2019-20 season though he is only guaranteed $1 million per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. He averaged 6.5 points and 2.3 assists in the 2018-19 season.
