The Wizards announced that CSP Limoges forward Sekou Doumbouya will visit the Wizards on Friday, June 13. He will not workout, unlike six other players. The six players who will workout are Corey Davis (Houston), Jessie Govan (Georgetown), Jaylen Hands (UCLA), Lyle Hexom (Peru State), Jonathan Kasibabu (Fairfield) and VJ King (Louisville).
Matt Silich wrote about Doumbouya’s potential as a boom-or-bust NBA prospect. Read his profile below.
As for the other prospects, Govan, the Hoyas’ start center last year, will get his shot to work out after missing a previous date on June 5. Govan may not get drafted, but he has potential as a Summer League sign-up.
The Wizards have the ninth pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. They will make the selection on Thursday, June 20 and a draft party will be held at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.
