Last Sunday, the Wizards defeated the Denver Nuggets on the road which is no easy feat. Denver is still in striking distance of clinching the top seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. However, beating the Spurs would also be a nice consolation gift for Washington. San Antonio is back in the playoffs though they will likely be the 8th seed in the West, though who knows? The Oklahoma City Thunder are just half a game ahead of them.
Like what we’ve seen in the last couple games, it is a good idea to limit Bradley Beal’s minutes so he can continue to make a case for an All-NBA team, whether he gets that supermax extension or not. And let’s see more Troy Brown as well.
