Wizards vs. Celtics GameThread

The Wizards are still in a slump. Fortunately, they’ll play a slumping Celtics team as well.

The Wizards play the Celtics tonight at 8 p.m. ET. You would have been able to see this on ESPN, but the game was flexed out. So instead, NBC Sports Washington or BAHSTEN (if you’re in Boston, Mass.) is your next best bet. As usual, your listening options are the Wizards Mobile App or Federal News Radio 1500 AM.

It’s been awhile since the Wizards saw a nationally televised game of theirs flexed out because of their poor play. After all, the Celtics are generally a team that SHOULD make it on national TV despite their current four-game losing streak. But it is what it is.

The Celtics are 37-25, and are fifth in the East. They certainly have team unity issues of their own. But at the same time, I think the Celtics still they have things a lot better than the Wizards who are 25-36 and little room for error if they still plan on making a run for the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference.

Though the grass is certainly greener on the other side, we’ll see if the Wizards can take care of Boston while they’re still kind of down. Go Wizards.
