The Wizards play the Cavaliers tonight at 7 p.m. You can watch it on NBC Sports Washington or listen to it on Federal News Radio 1500 AM or the Wizards mobile app.

A lot of things happened in the last couple days. John Wall’s Achilles tendon was torn and he will miss at least an entire year. Things aren’t going that well for him personally either because his mother has breast cancer though being a new dad helps. Otto Porter and Markieff Morris were traded so the Wizards could have more salary cap space for players to step in while he’s away. And even Bradley Beal was the last reserve picked in the All-Star Game. Most things just haven’t gone that great for D.C.’s NBA team.

That said, we may have a chance to see some of the Wizards’ new players like Bobby Portis, Jabari Parker, and Wesley Johnson. It will be interesting to see how they all mesh with the current team if see them get playing time tonight.

Otherwise, I just like seeing the Wizards start their first buckets with a Thomas Bryant or Tomas Satoransky slam dunk.

Let’s go Wizards.
