What to Watch for
Washington’s final chance to make an impression
As of now, it looks like the Wizards intend to “stay the course” in spite of John Wall’s recent injury setback, but the team’s recent play certainly doesn’t give many reasons for optimism. Washington has lost five of their last seven, including dispiriting losses to the lottery-bound Cavaliers and Hawks. They also suffered a loss at the hand of the Bucks during that stretch, in which Milwaukee overwhelmed them in nearly every facet of the game.
It won’t be easy for Washington to win in Milwaukee, where the Bucks are 22-4 this season, but Washington will need to look more competitive than they did on Saturday night. If they spend over half the game down by double digits like they did last weekend, it’s going to leave a bitter taste in everyone’s mouth just hours before the deadline.
