On paper, the Wizards would be the favorites tonight even given their injuries. But they have been consistent at being inconsistent. Washington is coming off a 131-115 thumping by the Bucks last Saturday though they did beat them earlier last month.
The Hawks have won three of their last six games heading into tonight. The Wizards hope to get back in the win column but they also have a habit of losing to other not-so-good teams. After all, they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers last week.
The NBA Trade Deadline is quickly approaching this week too. The Wizards have stated that they won’t let Bradley Beal, Otto Porter or John Wall go. Most likely, they won’t really do much to alter their lineup for a run at the 8-seed in the playoffs. But then again, you never know.
