What to Watch for

Will the Hawks have any legs left?

The Wizards are catching the Hawks at an ideal time. They’re on the final game of their seven-game road trip before returning home right as all the Super Bowl traffic clears out of Atlanta.

The Hawks have held their own on the trip, with wins over the Bulls, Clippers, and Suns, but here they’ll be fighting off the Wizards and the jet lag from flying back across the country after their win in Phoenix on Saturday night.

This is one of those games where Washington needs to demoralize Atlanta early and convince them to pack it in before things get tense later in the game. Washington can’t afford to let more winnable games slip through their fingers, especially after last week’s loss to the Cavaliers.
