2019 NBA All-Star: Bradley Beal gives Kristi Toliver, Ian Mahinmi praise, talks about meeting Dirk Nowitzki in media day interview

The Wizards guard talked about a wide range of topics in his second All-Star appearance.

On Saturday morning, Bradley Beal gave a media day interview in Charlotte for NBA All-Star Weekend. You can watch the entire video below:

In his interview Beal talked about a wide range of topics like:

  • Kristi Toliver (20:40) - Beal says that he is thrilled she is a coach on the Wizards and wants her to tell him if there’s anything he needs to be aware of on the court. He also said that he’d beat her in a shooting contest though.
  • Ian Mahinmi (26:30) - Beal vacationed in France last year and mentioned that Mahinmi was disappointed that Beal didn’t tell him he was coming. If Beal did, Mahinmi apparently would have “taken care of everything.”
  • Dirk Nowitzki (27:00) - When he was a teenager, Beal first met the Mavericks forward at a FIBA tournament he played and won the Gold Medal in for Team USA.
  • International Impact of Basketball (13:00) - Beal talked about going to Japan and how basketball fans appreciated him. He also sent an appreciative message to fans in Guatemala and Japan.
  • Raptors guard Danny Green gave an impromptu interview at the 16:00 mark as well.
