On Thursday, the Washington Wizards announced in a press release that Jordan McRae had right ring finger surgery to remove a pin inserted to repair a fracture he suffered last month. The pin was dislodged on Nov. 22 when the Wizards played the Charlotte Hornets. He will be evaluated again in two weeks.

McRae has played most of the Wizards’ games since early November and this news hurts their bench depth a bit more. He is averaging 8.9 points per game in the 2019-20 NBA season.
