On Sunday, the Washington Wizards announced that Admiral Schofield and Justin Robinson were assigned to the Capital City Go-Go G-League affiliate. The Go-Go will play the Windy City Bulls tonight at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Congress Heights.

Schofield played rotation minutes in much of December but only played two minutes in Washington’s loss to the New York Knicks. With Davis Bertans, Rui Hachimura and Moritz Wagner getting closer to return, Schofield’s playing time was going down regardless.

In Robinson’s case, he has played sparingly all season. With Gary Payton II’s addition and rapid rise in the rotation last week, it seemed inevitable that Robinson was headed back to the Go-Go, at least until the Wizards make a decision on whether to keep Payton, perhaps for the season.
