Bradley Beal, Thomas Bryant, Isaiah Thomas share thoughts after Wizards’ win against the Pistons

The three Washington Wizards starters discuss the Wizards’ 115-99 win over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night.

The Washington Wizards secured its first win at home by beating the Detroit Pistons 115-99 Monday night. Bradley Beal led Washington with 22 points but what was even more impressive was that the bench combined for a total of 53 points.

Rui Hachimura, who went 2-of-11 from the field against Minnesota just days before, turned things around by scoring 12 points (5-of-7 from the field) in his 16 minutes on the floor. Although he only played a little over three minutes in the second half, it was good to see the rookie bounce back.

Pistons center Andre Drummond was the biggest challenge for the Wizards going into this game. He finished the night with 15 points and 24 rebounds. Though Drummond grabbed many rebounds, he struggled, especially early on.

The Wizards made Drummond work for everything and looked frustrated. Drummond even changed his shoes after the first quarter. Bryant and reserve center Moritz Wagner showed that they can hang with one of the best centers in the league.

After the game, we caught up with Bradley Beal, Thomas Bryant, and Isaiah Thomas. Check out their thoughts on the win in the video above.
