The Washington Wizards lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night, 131-109. This game was just a poor performance start to finish where Washington couldn’t recover.
Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 30 points, all in the first three quarters.
Rui Hachimura had his first bad night of the season, going 2-of-11 from the field for just four points.
Andrew Wiggins led Minnesota with 21 points.
The Wizards’ next game is on Monday against the Detroit Pistons. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. ET. It is also Washington’s first game against an Eastern Conference opponent this season.
