It’s easy, sometimes too easy to write off the Washington Wizards this season because John Wall won’t play this season. However, it’s also just as interesting to see how he his recovering from the injury and what he’s doing in the process.
NBC Sports Washington’s Chase Hughes was at Wizards practice earlier today and caught a glimpse of Wall dribbling and taking a pull-up jumper.

To be clear, Wall did not participate in TEAM practices since he’s not cleared for drills. But he is able to do individual work which is very important nevertheless.
I’m no expert on exactly what an athlete would typically be able to do 8 months after an Achilles tear, but it’s good to see that Wall is able to mover pretty quickly given the circumstances!
