Win streaks have been hard to come by for Washington this year. They only have two three-game win streaks which were followed up by a bunch more periods of losing. The Southeast Division has been pretty bad from top to bottom this year so perhaps this offers an opportunity for the Wizards to get another three-game win streak before Sunday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Before playing the Thunder of course, we’ll have to see how they do against Miami. They are 18-18 and sixth place in the Eastern Conference while the Wizards are well below that despite having a roster that is at least as talented even after all the injuries they’ve faced this season.
