San Antonio has moved well past its era when Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili played for the franchise and won several NBA titles together. But they are still 28-22, sixth in the Western Conference with a roster that has DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Rudy Gay. They still play very well together and make the most out of what they have.
The Wizards have played very well in January and are 7-4 this month. They will have to play like this for most of the rest of the season to get toward the .500 mark or even surpass it. I’m not that optimistic that they will do it given how inconsistent they were starting the season. But they have gotten things together this month.
