Jeremy Lin and the Hawks will face off against the Wizards tonight!

The Wizards play the Hawks tonight at 7 p.m. EST. Watch the game on NBC Sports Washington and listen to it on the Wizards Mobile App or Federal News Radio 1500 AM.

This is the first game of the 2019 calendar year and Washington hopes to start with a win over Atlanta, whom they lost to last month. Jeremy Lin also comes to Washington for the first time, where he seems to get the better of John Wall more often than I’d like to admit. With Wall out for the rest of the season, perhaps the Wizards have a better chance of winning?

In our last Wizards and Hawks GameThread, I also wrote something quick on Vince Carter and how he has managed to remain an effective NBA player into his 40’s. Jeff Siegel of Peachtree Hoops elaborated on Carter’s long NBA career and how he evolved from star athletic slasher and dunker to ... a 3-and-D player.
