Some Quick London Recommendations for Visiting Wizards

OK, I may have lived in Washington and Warsaw for many years, but I also lived in London for a spell, and have been a frequent visitor since the late 60s (the restaurants have greatly improved over that span).

I know that the NBA and all have planned a pretty thorough schedule for you, and you have already lost a travel day to bad weather, but here a few things you may want to consider doing while you are in this wonderful city,

Most of all, considering that you guys undoubtedly have trouble finding dress suits and shirts that fit you well off the rack, I would highly recommend you visit a gentleman's tailor on Jermyn Street (near Picadilly) and order a couple of bespoke suits and a dozen dress shirts (some studs and ties too). This will take care of your needs for business attire for several years. Come to think of it, Scottie could use a wardrobe upgrade too!

After you get fitted, stroll down Jermyn Street to the corner of St James and get some Cuban cigars at Davidoff, which you will enjoy as you celebrate your victory over the Knicks. If you want to bring them back to the USA, remember to pack them in Honduran cigar boxes :-)

The Tate London Gallery has the world's finest collection of paintings by JMW Turner, who to my mind predicted modernism at the beginning of the 19th century. The Tate Modern Gallery is great fun too.

And visit the Tower of London, the Crown Jewels are super.

Most of all, enjoy yourselves and win the game. It is on IV in prime time here.
