The G-League unveiled their schedule for the upcoming 2017-18 season on Monday, which will feature the Capital City Go-Go for the first time.
They’ll kick off their inaugural, 50-game campaign at home against the Greensboro Swarm on Saturday, November 3 at 7 p.m. They’ll wrap the regular season on a trip to the Western Conference to face the Santa Cruz Warriors and Stockton Kings.
The Go-Go got a pretty favorable slate for their first season. They’ll only play five back-to-backs (tied for the fewest in the league) and they only play two games on the same day as the Wizards. You can view the Go-Go’s full schedule here.
The G-League also announced divisional restructuring to accommodate the new addition. The Go-Go will be part of the new Southeast Division, which they’ll face off against the Greensboro Swarm (the Hornets’ G-League affiliate), Erie Bayhawks (the Hawks’ G-League affiliate), and Lakeland Magic (the Magic’s G-League affiliate). The only thing keeping the Southeast Division from having a perfect pairing with the NBA is the Heat, because their affiliate is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
