Look, Ian Mahinmi's contract is what it is, and his foul rate per 36 minutes is what it is. I'm not here to justify either.
What I’m here to do is to kindly ask you to take a look at some of these photos of Ian at a recent charity event he hosted for the Ian Mahinmi I Am Foundation. The charity is great, but seriously, just look at this outfit. It’s incredible.
There are maybe five people in the world who can pull off that look and Ian is one of them. Frankly, he should wear that to every game moving forward. It would give the Wizards such a psychological advantage.
This isn’t the first time Mahinmi has shown off his flair for fashion. As we all know, he loves blue robes, and he has his own high-end fashion line that other Wizards have been spotted wearing to games. Still, I’d argue his finest fashion moment of the summer came back in June when he opened a Steak ‘n Shake in France—yes, you read that correctly—and somehow looked classy wearing the apron.
Former #Pacers center Ian Mahinmi has his own clothing line, and last year became a franchisee of @SteaknShake after playing in Indy.— Scott Agness (@ScottAgness) June 20, 2018
On Friday, he’s opening one just outside Paris.https://t.co/XxWTjmoV50 pic.twitter.com/wT0MRbqH4H
It’s anyone guess what the future holds for Ian Mahinmi in Washington, but we know regardless of what happens he’ll look good doing it.
