Storylines to watch
Will this be a Chris McCullough revenge game?
The former Wizard hasn’t had a great Summer League so far. He went 0-for-6 from the field in only 12 minutes of playing time in the 76ers’ Summer League opener against the Celtics. Then, he didn’t play at all in Philadelphia’s loss to the Lakers on Saturday. You can bet if he gets a chance to play he’ll want to show something against his former team.
Troy Brown Jr. vs. Zhaire Smith
These players went back-to-back in the draft after going head-to-head in several pre-draft workouts, including one in Washington. While this game won’t be the final referendum on who deserved to be the higher draft pick, it’s an opportunity to see how both players are adjusting to the league and assess where they might be able to fit in as rookies.
Will Devin Robinson keep the highlight party going?
After a slow start on Friday, Robinson turned in an outstanding performance against the Spurs on Sunday and nearly helped them pull off a comeback victory. It would be great to see more of that against Philadelphia’s talented, athletic squad.
