Keys to victory

Kristi Toliver and Elene Delle Donne need to carry the Mystics together

If the Mystics want to position themselves to be in the playoffs, Toliver and Delle Donne have to carry the team together. Delle Donne has carried the team herself throughout the entire season but when the duo is dominating a game the Mystics are a better team. Toliver and EDD are coming off of incredible performances in the last game. Delle Donne dropped 30 points with 10 rebounds while Toliver netted 19 points with 8 assists. They need to bring that same energy to this game.

Contain Chiney Ogwumike and Courtney Williams

Ogwumike and Williams are leading the Sun in scoring with 14.9 and 12.5 points per game respectively. They will always find a way to the basket so the Mystics need to focus on containing them while still knowing where Jasmine Thomas and Jonquel Jones are.

Don’t let Shekinna Stricklen have another season-high game

In her team’s last game against Dallas she scored 24 points. She’s only averaging 6.7 points per game but the Mystics cannot sleep on her because she just might have found her groove.
