What to Watch for
What can the Wizards do to slow down Dennis Smith Jr.?
The Wizards have struggled against talented perimeter players in Las Vegas. Now, they’re going to face Dennis Smith Jr., who has been electric so far in Summer League.
Dallas might not play him a whole lot in this game, since it’s just a consolation match, but if he does, it will give Troy Brown Jr. Chris Chiozza, and Issuf Sanon a good test as they wrap up their time in Summer League.
What else can Devin Robinson do?
Robinson has been the surprise star of the team in Las Vegas and has gotten better with each game. He showed off some impressive moves on both ends in the Wizards’ loss on Wednesday.
As we noted Wednesday, it’s hard to see where he could crack into the rotation next season, but another strong game would give the Wizards an awful lot to think about over the summer, especially since they still have one open roster spot. If nothing else, it should give fans something to look forward to when the Capital City Go-Go start up this fall.
