On Monday, the WNBA named Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the games she played between June 11-17, during which she averaged 27 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2 steals per game.
She’s received this honor 13 times during her six seasons in the League, but it’s her first time winning the award since joining the Mystics. She’s the first Mystic to win Player of the Week honors since Emma Meesseman in June 2016.
