On Wednesday, Wizards TV color analyst Kara Lawson was interviewed by the ”Sports Junkies” of 106.7 the Fan. You can listen to the interview here.

In her segment, Lawson spoke about Tomas Satoransky and his lack of playing time at the 20:45 mark of the video. She explained that it’s likely that Ty Lawson is playing more minutes than Satoransky because he has more of a tendency to break down the defense. Satoransky doesn’t have that tendency. In fact, Lawson said that Wizards head coach Scott Brooks made “the right call” to play Ty Lawson ahead of Satoransky because of the matchups involved.

Lawson also talked about whether the Wizards have to win Game 5 tonight despite facing what should be an emotional crowd. She didn’t think a Game 5 win was necessary because the Raptors also have the pressure of being the only non-American NBA team. And many teams have a chance to make the Finals from the East considering that the Cleveland Cavaliers have lost a step in the regular season.

Finally, Lawson even talked about her lack of reaction or in her words, a “Poker Face” during the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.
