POLL Closed: 72% do not think Coach Brooks has the Kahoonas to Bench Gortat. Needs to grow a pair!

My man, as described by BulletsForever Staff, Joseph Turner described Marcin Gortat as "CHECKED OUT."

Let's not forget that he is an old man for a Starting Center, who has played the whole year, and every day gets slower by the minute.

And the athleticism, youth and speed of Toronto's front court is well, putting him to shame.

This is playoff basketball, where teams go out of their way to take advantage of even the minor things they can exploit.

Twice this year, Scott Brooks has proclaimed that he will make changes to underperforming players. Twice, he has backed off and trotted out the same lineup.

Everyone and their grandmother can see that Gortat is done and is harming the team by being on the floor, much less be a Starter.

There seems to be pressure on Scott Brooks to start the players Ted and EG want to start. To prove that their decisions on roster building is correct, especially Ted Leonsis declaring he wants "Continuity," which doesn't seem to be working. As other teams tinker and add to their roster, the Wizards stayed put.

Ego's are very fragile in the NBA. But it is time for Scott Brooks to do the hard part of his job.

The NFL is famous for playing the best players at all times. Their locker room demands it. It doesn't matter if you make $10million. If the undrafted walk-on out plays you then he gets to Start and the playing time he EARNED.

Why can't the Wizards have the same philosophy, because right now it ain't working.
