John Wall returned to full contact practices on Saturday

Barring a setback, Wall should be back in action before too long.

John Wall has missed every game since January 27 after receiving a left knee procedure to heal discomfort. After missing about two months, Wall returned to a full contact practice on Saturday, which went longer than usual, according to Candace Buckner of The Washington Post. Bradley Beal also called the practice “intense,” per Buckner.

Here is what Beal said in detail after practice:

And here are Scott Brooks’ remarks. In his remarks, Brooks noted that Wall lost “a few pounds” in the last two months, so he shouldn’t be sluggish when he returns.

So now that Wall is back in practice and looks great, I’m just wondering when he actually returns. There is no definitive timetable for his return, but the Wizards are better with Wall than without him. I look forward to seeing to what adjustments he makes when that day comes.
