The Wizards haven’t won a game in San Antonio since 1999, when Mitch Richmond went off for 31 points to lift the 5-16 Wizards to a 99-88 win in the Alamodome. This may be Washington’s best chance to break the streak. Kawhi Leonard has missed almost the whole season and the Spurs are on pace to have their first season without 50 wins since the strike-shortened 1998-99 season.

It’s never easy to break what feels like an endless cycle though. Washington will have to pull out all the stops to get a win in a hostile environment.
